(Update another time) Now to solve a skill CESA problem for IE candidates. To please fussy examiners. You need to swim very slowly in the ascend position, while emitting a continuous sound for a distance of 9 meters. The diver must be uw throughout - no part of the body at surface or touching the bottom. Your speed ideally is 30 seconds for 9 meters. 1. Method 1. Start with very big breath / Less /lesser? 1. First you get NB. Assume position of ascend - look up, Left hand on BCD hose, and right hand extended. Take some breaths, the last one select very big breath. 2. Start your swim with small bubbles and small sound. 4. If you float at the start, Redo with less air in your lungs. Repeat, with lesser air and so on, until you do the whole 9 meters uw without surfacing or touching the bottom. 2. Method 2. Getting NB with different amount of air in your lungs. (Getting late. Next time I log in ?). Another 3 years time ? LOL 22/7/20 Been away for over a year. Next is Tioman IE 25/26 Aug 2020 People? - Firm - Marcus, Jeje, Shuen Fen and Hasib. Similarly, we have Tutorials for ALL the PADI Programs such as Discover Scuba Diving, Open Water Diver Course, Adventures in Diving, Rescue Course and the Divemaster Course. And the most important one, General Standards Part 1 - the grand daddy of all PADI Standards and Procedures 2. Each tutorial gives a simplified overview of the structure of the program, followed by pages in the PADI Instructor Manual and highlighted parts of the PADI Guide to Teaching to be read. 3. This is followed by questions and answers to test and confirm knowledge of that particular PADI Program. 4. To double confirm, we have 10 sets of Trial Standards and Procedures Exams for the candidates to practice and confirm their mastery of PADI Standards. MASTERY OF CONFINED AND OPEN WATER BRIEFINGS, CONDUCT AND DEBRIEFINGS - 2 Main Segments out of 4 Segments of the PADI IE. 1. Tutorials on how to draft your Confined Water and Open Water skills Briefings and Debriefings, how to conduct including tips such as stay close to your student, what action to take when an error by a student is dangerous to him, remembering to demonstrate in Confined Water etc have been written and more importantly tested in IDCs and IEs. 2. The heart of these 2 PADI Instructor Exam (IE) requirements is the Data File - Skills - Complete Data. a. This Excel file have been compiled after years of work, and is constantly undergoing updating as new skills and anticipated problems surface. b. For every skill that has been assigned in the PADI IE, or can be assigned, its Value, Conduct Steps, Problems and Solutions, Confined Water Organization, Open Water Review, Open Water Organization is detailed. c. In fact everything required by the IDC or IE candidate have been included. 3. To make matters even easier for the IDC / IE Candidate, forms have been designed for the Confined and Open Water briefings, which is a simple case of filling in the blanks from the previously mentioned File. MASTERY OF WATER SKILLS - BASIC, ADVENTURES IN DIVING AND RESCUE SKILLS 1. We have multiple staff to ensure each IDC candidate perform skills to score maximum marks in the IE. 5s in the IE. The simulated Controlled Emergency Swimming Ascent in CWD must be performed really slowly - 30 seconds over 9 meters with the diver in perfect trim. We ensure that first you must be horizontal when swimming slowly. We adjust your kicking style and weights positioning to achieve this. 2. We ensure that you can perform to demonstration quality all skills that may be assigned in the IE - 55 of them and increasing because of the 2014 Open Water Diver Course. MASTERY OF KNOWLEDGE DEVELOPMENT PRESENTATIONS 1. Again, a very detailed and tested Tutorial have been designed - with a form which just needs filling in. This form was seen by an Examiner in a recent PADI IE. He was amazed " you mean you just have to fill in the blanks only? " and he took a picture of the form. We have improved o that form. 2. Tips are given for you to score full marks on Training Aids, which is so easy to do if you know how, such as the use of the PADI App, and max use of the Course Manuals to answer questions in the Body and Summary. 3. High Scores. You score 5 in the Introduction, 10 in the Body and 5 in the Summary with ease. 5s too in Training Aids and Style of delivery with plenty of relevant interaction. Secret of scoring 5 in the Delivery is the use of mini group dynamics, in addition to speaking slowly and clearly without ahhs.... or ehhs......
